The kit is a 1/35 Takom AH-64E apache guardian.

Before i started assembly I took some in person reference photos of the cockpit, forwards avionics bays, engine, and more.

After returning with the photos i had started with assembling the cockpit, and main rotor mast. For the cockpit I mixed a small amount of white into flat black making extremely dark grey. I then went in with US helo drab made by vallejo, over high points in the cockpit. I then did some basic chipping with mettalics, added some decals, painted raised details, and called it a day for the cockpit. For the main rotar mast i just used a black base and AK's helo drab again. took some copper paint and dabbed it on some bolt/rivet details

Then i assembled the gun which i was able to keep into 3 sub assembly's. After that i primed each assembly I took monument hobby's magnesuim paint and sprayed the barrel and some elements of the gun itself, and then sprayed the muzzle break and other elements of the gun in monument hobbys light gold. Once the gun was painted i moved onto the frame the surrounds the gun with again ak's helo drab. I did add two white wires to the front of the gun by using super glue and some copper wire i had laying around.

I then attached the gun to the airframe and started to work on the forwards avionics bays, and landing gear.

I then spent a few hours modifying the forward arming bay/avionics bay by drilling some very small holes into these connecters and sticking copper wire with supper glue inside. For the cyan primer I mixed flat blue with 19 drops of flat white.

I then spent another few hours by building out the engine, and modifying it by again adding some more wires. think i got pretty close to the real thing. I used tin foil for the extremely shiny effect. and for the boot print paint smear i took an old 1/35 figure covered the boot in paint and stamped it on the cover.

With the small details out of the way I went through 30 ish hours of work to be %80 done with assembly.

I then primed the model in vallejo black primer, and used a desaturated yellow and placed it in the middle of panels.

After that i took the AK paint and thinned it down quite a bit so i would have extreme amounts of control over the pre shading effect. (Note the apache behind it is a two year old failed attempt at making this model)
